Gun Sword (ガン × ソード GUN×SWORD), is a Japanese animated television series produced by AIC A.S.T.A. The series is directed by Gorō Taniguchi and written by Hideyuki Kurata.
Gun x Sword follows the journey of Van as he scours a planet known as "The Endless Illusion" in search of the man with the claw who killed his wife. Consumed by his desire for revenge, Van uses his armor, Dann of Thursday, to pursue The Claw with single minded determination until a young girl named Wendy joins him. Wendy slowly brings out the humanity left in the armor rider sustained by vengeance. Eventually more friends and rivals alike accompany Van as he tries to realize his dream, defeating the man with the claw and those who call The Claw comrade.
