Luffy D. Monkey

     Luffy is an energetic and kind soul, though a bit too trusting and forgiving for a pirate. when he was young, he met a famous pirate who he came to idolize. Later, when he was a young man, he ate the Gum Gum fruite, a mysterious fruit that turned his entire body into rubber, and made it imposible for him to swim. Despite this, he went on to become a pirate and set out to become King of the Pirats. He started along, but because of his kind nature and unbeatable spirit he began to aquire freind along his journy. Each of his crew joined him for different reasons, but they respected Luffy and follow him no matter what. Luffy has a habit of fighting any one who hurts his friends or innocent people in front of him, no matter how strong they are. Because of this, he often lands in trouble, but always manages to survive, becoming stronger with every fight. Luufy will continue to fight for what he believes in until the day he dies, and that is why he will become the king of the pirates.
