Helen is the mother of Sharon, Adam, and Josh, and she works as a psychologist . Not only is she successful as a psychologist who sees clients in her home office, she's also a single parent raising three kids. Helen is a great mother who does her best to stay "in touch" with her kids.. Helen divorced Sharon's father when Sharon was seven, but her parents still get along well. Helen is now dating a guy named David who, in Sharon's opinion, is a dorky guy who wears dorky ties, but despite this opinion, she likes him.
