Princess Yue

Is the princess of the Northern Water tribe. She was very ill when she was a baby so her father and mother brought her to the spirit pond where the spirits of the moon and ocean are in living form where the spirit of the moon helps Yue survive. She eventually becomes the moon spirit when Admiral Zhao slays the moon spirit taking all the water benders ability to bend she gives her life up to become the spirit of the moon giving back the water benders ability to bend. She and Sokka kiss at one point in the series.
